You can also use the application as strong metal detector.

This compass application shows the direction to magnetic north. It is dependent upon the accuracy of the sensors within your device. The application uses both Magnetic sensor and Accelerometer sensor to get the most accurate direction.
The application always checks the accuracy of the both sensors and reports the result on screen if their accuracy is not high level.
Be aware that surrounding metal and magnetic fields will affect the accuracy of the device.
